ROLE : Java Engineer / Lead REPORTS TO : Delivery EXPERIENCE : 7- 12 Years EDUCATION : Bachelor’s Degree LOCATION : Bangalore, India BROAD RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strong application design and implementation skills, solid Spring/Hibernate Frameworks based application architectures. • Experience developing high concurrency, high performance applications that are database-intensive and have interactive, browser-based clients. • Understanding of entire development cycle. • Strong background in Java/J2EE/JSP and • Experience with relational databases (MySQL is a plus). Strong SQL is required. • Understanding of web-based SOA architecture implementation experience is useful. On-demand or SaaS experience is a plus. • Experience with on-line advertising technologies or large-scale workflow systems is very helpful but not required. PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE ROLE: • Core Java ( Collections and Data Structures) , JSP, Servlet • Spring ( Core and MVC) • Hibernate • SQL ( MYSQL) • JUNIT • Application design • Problem Solving • This is to check the approach / analysis taken up by candidates. • Standard questions are about Sorting, search algorithm, string manipulations, array, hash table manipulations etc ) • Whether the candidate is hands on • castor, • spring-WS, • spring-security, AJAX, • SOA, SaaS • Agile Experience • High volume transaction systems • Performance tuning • Good communication and Presentation skills • Team player Certification: • Candidate with certification is preferred. Certifications can be in Java and/or in DB.
