Experience required for the Job: 5 - 12 years Job Location: Bengaluru/Bangalore Apply Now   Reply Dear Candidate, QA Architect Position Description: This position will be responsible for providing QA Architecture, QA strategy and approach for Cachematrix products. Responsibilities: *Create Test Plan and Traceability matrix. *Create QA framework for functional testing and automation. *Mentor and guide team members on best practices for test case writing and execution. *Work with Program Managers in project planning and execution. *Perform Functional Architecture, design and analysis to design test cases. *Develop new test cases or update existing test cases for any new functionality or change request. *Perform test case reviews. *Develop automation scripts using Microsoft Technologies namely VSTS Web Test and Coded UI. *Develop plug-ins and validation rule using C# in VSTS. *Write SQL scripts to perform data validation. *Prepare test data for various testing scenarios. *Report defects in Visual Studio Team System. *Follow QA SDLC process. *Adopting new technologies in current QA processes Required Skills/Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university with First class *5 - 9 years of experience in Software testing. *Must have at least 4 years of automation development experience using any industry standard tool like QTP or VSTS. *Must have Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills. *Must be familiar with Software Development Lifecycle. *Must be Strong in testing methodology *Must be able to understand technical architecture and design and subsequently design test cases and approach based on that. *Must have experience in developing test cases by looking at the functional specification. *Must have used Defect tracking tool for bug reporting and managing bugs. *Experience with Microsoft Test Manager Tool is a plus. *Must have involved in developing new framework using latest Microsoft Technology *Experience on project coordination with the peers and management is a plus. *Should be familiar with writing complex SQL scripts. *Experience with performance and security testing is a plus. *Experience with Microsoft VSTS testing tools is a plus. *Experience with Financial Services application is a plus.
