SDET-QA Automation Engineer

This experienced software testing professional will be expected to perform a variety of quality assurance tasks to ensure that our software products meet quality standards and end-user requirements. While working as part of a cross-functional project team composed of developers, project managers, product managers, support personnel, and business analysts, our QA personnel help shape the quality and stability of our software products while making continuous operational improvements to maximize testing coverage and reduce testing cycle time.

The SDET is a key strategic role on our team responsible for enabling team members to continuously improve testing operations by applying tools and technologies to develop automation for the testing function. The ideal candidate will be skilled at hands-on testing throughout the entire software development lifecycle and will be capable of applying industry standard software testing practices through both manual testing and automated testing. We are looking for someone who is just as passionate as we are about testing in a complex integrated environment that leverages the most current architectures and can multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced technical environment with rapid development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

·        Writes automated tests for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by both internal and external customers.

·        Conducts In-sprint Test Design, Test planning Test automation development, and Test execution

·        Works closely with Scrum team members to clarify requirements, ensure testability and automate ability, to provide feedback on design (functional and technical)
·        Contributes to impact assessments from Feature enhancements on system level interactions, and existing automated test suites
·        Conducts Manual Testing, and uses Exploratory Testing to uncover weaknesses in their test approaches
·        Identifies opportunities for reuse so as to design and implement test automation libraries
·        Development responsibilities include doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and test impacts, writing test tools and identifying automation opportunities
·        Candidate should have strong programming, debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills.
·        Self-directed and able to run a test effort from start to finish on their own, report status, and drive solutions, possibly having the analysts and developers assist in testing and providing oversight, monitoring, and assignment of test tasks to them

·        Ability to work well under pressure and during times of extreme ambiguity


Qualifications
·        Engineering Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
·        5+ years of related experience testing web portals and applications using Microsoft technologies
·        5+ years of experience in various phases of testing, designing, and developing complex enterprise applications, including automation test development.
·        2 years C#
·        Expertise in most of the following –Web API (MS ASP.Net), MVC, WCF, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, SOAP, REST, JQuery, .Net Framework, Web Services.
·        2+ years Visual Studio a plus
·        Solid SQL skills
·        Practical experience in with SoapUI/Pro, Parasoft Virtualize or CA Lisa test environments is a plus.
·        Practical knowledge of object oriented programming
·        Practical knowledge in analyzing, designing, and developing solutions to highly complex problems
·        Practice in Agile Scrum methodology
·        Familiar with Unit Test, Mock, Test Driven Development etc.

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
Interview Process will start tentatively from 1st Week of July 2015.
1st Round : Technical Interview
2nd Round : Talent Management (Fitment) Interview
3rd Round : Final Technical Interview
4th Round : Final Talent Management Interview
Mode of Interview for 1st & 2nd Round – Telephonic/ Video Skype
Mode of Interview for 2nd & 3rd Round – Video Skype (Mandatory)
Candidate should be available for the Video Skype/ telephonic interview as per the panel's availability for all the rounds. Candidates shall be informed much in advance.

** Skype Id is mandatorily required.


MOBILITY PROCESS
After the final selection the necessary Work Permit/Visa processing will take place. The candidate is expected to resign from his current employer once his/her Visa is approved and is intimated by International HR team.

All expenses related to candidate's work permit filing (excluding visa stamping) would be taken care by Experis. Candidate has to take care for their dependent's visa processing. However, we will help with documentation query.

Passport Validity has to be 1+ years and above.

Once you are selected, Experis will send a Conditional Offer Letter ("Subject to Visa Approval" will be mentioned in that letter).

BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS:

Background checks will be conducted for 7 years of employment, highest education, 10 years criminal and address. Candidates are required to furnish correct information along with documentation about their education, employment etc. The previous employment should be in organizations which are currently in operation.
