We are having an urgent position with our client McKinsey & Company (www.mckinsey.com) for Gurgaon location.
Position - Data Integration Architect
Experience - 9 Years - 13 Years
Skills -
* Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
* A minimum of 10-13 years of experience architecting large scale data systems with at least three large scale implementations with progressively larger degrees of responsibility and scope of implementation specifically focused on data integration.
* A minimum of 8 years of experience with data integration implementation (ETL, change data capture, data replication, and data movement) involving data warehousing and operational systems.
* Experience with Data Integration and any ETL tools.
* Experience implementing data integration solutions using dimensional modeling and 3NF structures.
* Working knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems.
* Expert knowledge of various scripting languages, scheduling tools and version control software.
* Solid understanding of transactional and information systems, data warehouses, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycles.
* Experience with data analysis, data profiling and data quality techniques, methodologies and tools.
* Working knowledge of Data Modeler Tool.
* Solid understanding of performance tuning techniques in Oracle such as partitioning, parallelism, fast/bulk load, etc.
* Strong experience in integrating vendor products within an enterprise and managing the product life cycle.
* Knowledge of agile software development process.
* Familiarity with performance metric tools, various testing frameworks and automated testing specially for vendor packaged applications.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions.
* Distinct customer focus and quality mindset.
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in various team settings.
* Ability to work under pressure with a solid sense for setting priorities.
* Ability to manage own learning and contribute to functional knowledge building.

The Integration Architect has a real passion for software development and integration of various business solutions. They can:
1. Provide technical oversight to various development projects implemented using the various Vendor packaged applications platforms
2. Define the technology and platform based on the business requirements during the inception of the projects
3. Brainstorm, design and propose technical solutions to meet business needs
4. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Data Architecture teams to develop new integration frameworks
5. Responsible for the entire product life cycle of various vendor products including Support, Product costs, product platforms and various internal interfaces
6. Maintain a keen focus on maximizing business value, prioritizing the right projects to start and ensuring minimal time to market
7. Effectively collaborate with and manage stakeholders/sponsors expectations, escalations and relationships
8. Mentor and coach the development teams throughout the project lifecycle, e.g.
a. Product discovery sessions
b. Identifying & removing team technical impediments
c. Technical guidance on products, platforms, design, etc.
d. Risk management
e. Partnerships with other Firm IT groups
This candidate contributes to the success of our Application Development group through leadership, oversight and optimization of various Vendor Packaged applications projects. She or he must have excellent communication skills, influencing & negotiation skills. This candidate should have the ability to think "out of the box" and be able to tackle & resolve challenges that present themselves when working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Key characteristics candidate should have:
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing and be able to explain complex technical issues in plain English to a variety of stakeholders in the larger organization.
* Ability to distill and present information to senior leadership
* Ability to lead and motivate others
* Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to work independently and to build strong teams
