Hello,
Your resume came up in a search I did in our database for an opening I have with my client CDW in Vernon Hills.
Its a year long project.
Here is the descirption:
The candidate will be working with our Sales Analytics team to automate their reporting. Sales Analytics provides fairly decent requirements. Our team then takes those requirements and works through the technical design and development. That includes asking any questions for clarification, estimating work effort, and eventually, creating/modifying SSIS packages and SSAS cubes. The Cognos reports are handled by another subteam in our group, although, there may be interaction with that team to ensure understanding, data accuracy, and performance.
Critical Experience:
• Recent (within last 12 months) experience with SSIS and SSAS
• Level of SSIS skill needs to be 8 out of 10 and SSAS 6 to 7 out of 10
• Excellent communication skills are a must. They will be interacting with our IT team and the business.
• Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
