Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Engineering Manager - Mobility. This role is responsible for successfully designing and managing the integration of mobile solutions and technologies. The role will be responsible for hands on coding, integrations, extensions, features and designing solutions using the various mobile technologies. It requires that the Manager maintain a high degree of understanding of the various components of the mobile computing ecosystem. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Product Managers to lead the technology solutions, needed to drive alignment of client needs.

Responsibilities:
Design overall solutions and individual applications based on project requirements and industry best practices.
Hands on coding experience in any (preferred is multiple mobile platforms) of the Mobile platforms

Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Develop and document detailed functional modules for mobile solutions on iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone/Tablet platforms.
Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise mobile solutions.
Lead and mentor sub-ordinate development teams.
Work closely with Project Managers, Senior Business Analysts.
Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a mobile solution.
Become the trusted advisor to the client.
Desired Skills and Experience
Expertise in iOS and Android with HTML5, CSS3, and other mobile frameworks/accelerators.
Bachelors Degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
8+ years experience in designing and developing mobile technology solutions.
Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies.
Demonstrated deployments of enterprise or consumer-facing mobile software systems using industry standard environments including iOS, Android, PhoneGap (Apache Cordova).
Experience with all or any of the Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, SIP/VoIP, LBS, Multimedia streaming, Social networking, IM chat clients, etc.
Experience with Objective-C, Java, HTML5/JS/CSS3, preferably with Java server side framework knowledge.
Experience developing custom end user mobile systems.
Web services integration expertise on
1. RESTful, JSON
2. SOAP services
Experience overseeing team members.
A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise mobile application integration.
Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
