Job description
*Need good tech development background followed by stellar project management and delivery experience; e-commerce setup background preferred but not mandatory.
*Experience in developing scalable enterprise applications and design system which can handle large number of transactions
*Ability to foster and build a strong technology team (work in-house plus lead project manage via external vendors)
Skills
Should have experience in e-commerce/technology startup companies and will/skill to make disparate technological products talk across.
Managing and directing online workflow software, web-based technical structure, design, navigation, information architecture, performance & security enabler
Set outlook of future development of the platforms
Strong understanding in backend development and algorithms
Great understanding of dot net and good understanding of PHP, MySQL, JQuery, MVC, HTML and newer open source platforms
Experience in building large scale system designs
Ability to pick-up any new language / frame-work / protocol
Experience with debugging tools like selenium
Familiarity with configuration of server in UNIX/Linux environment
Eligibility Criteria
Should understand technologies related to .net, PHP, word press, python frameworks.
Both the Front-end & Back-end experience will be added advantage
Should be able to build a strong team, handle and motivate them. (Leader for our IT development team plus support our digital marketing and web products initiatives.)
Should also be able to support and develop other products like mobile site, online marketplace etc. as and when it comes (thinking aligned to open source technology)
Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the future success of business (Managing current while working on future)
Build backend tools to automate business processes for marketing, customer service, workflow management, etc. and lead timely response to feature requests from internal users and development features.
Should demonstrate ability to think outside the box
Should be a results-oriented individual, with a strong will to win
Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or has relevant work experience
