Job Description:
Key skills: SQL developer (Should be excellent in writing SQL Queries), SSIS, SSRS and strong in Asp.net.
Dell is seeking an outstanding SQL Developer to join the Commercial Sales Operations Organization's Customer Reporting Solutions team. The team owns and delivers customer centric information, metrics and analytics via reporting solutions to a diverse community of external customers. Our goal is to make our customers information accessible in an efficient and timely manner.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with global team members and ensure we create and maintain efficient and effective technologies and techniques for delivering vital information to our customers on some of the company's largest and complex data sets.
This candidate is needed to develop (external) customer reporting for customer specific requests. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and improve our reporting solutions around the world.
Responsibilities:
* Work in a developer capacity; managing the development of external customer reporting requests appropriately.
* Communicate and manage response and delivery SLAs for all assigned work.
* Collaborate across work groups regarding assigned work.
* Troubleshoot and implement improvements for defects in assigned work, ensuring consistent accuracy and quality output.
* Document and standardize data inputs, procedures and processes.
* Manage cross-functional relationships with both supporting organizations as well as end users.
* Create scalable and robust solutions that are efficient and timely to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
* 6-8 years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience, including experience with Dell's data tools: D3, Teradata.
* Must have strong SQL programming skills, capable of developing complex, yet efficient technical processes for acquiring, modifying and manipulating information.
* Strong customer focus.
* Strong understanding of statistical analysis including quality of information, data mining, Six Sigma (BPI) analytical processes, problem solving.
* Attention to detail and high quality standards.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
* Broad knowledge of Dell's business processes and system capabilities.
This is for max 2 years contractual which is extendable and could be absorbed based on performance
