Job Title: iOS Application Architect
Relevant Experience: 7 to 12 Years
Responsibilities:
Own the Design and development of applications for the iOS platform.
Develop iOS applications and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
Instrument and test applications for performance, scalability, security and provide solutions to team to fix relevant issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Lead quality assurance reviews, code inspections, and walkthroughs of the developers' code
Act as technical interface to development team for external groups
Coordinates the development of system documentation
Assigns development tasks and defect resolution tasks to team
Provide technical estimates as required
Integrate with third-party APIs and Cloud APIs
Design and Create apps which are scalable and provide a rich user-experience (UX)
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
Should have worked on several iOS mobile apps development projects
Should be excellent in Objective-C, iOS SDK
Should have good knowledge of iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
Should have deep familiarity with Cocoa Touch and Xcode - including Xcode Instruments and Apple LLVM Compiler.
Should have Strong object oriented design skills and a track record of delivering designs to market
Should have extensive experience in integrating iOS components like Calendar, Camera, GPS, sensors, etc.
Should have good understanding of deployment methods, along with publishing the app in app Store.
Should be proficient in working with different types of web-services (SOAP/REST etc.).
Should have solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
Should have excellent problem-solving and algorithm skills.
Knowledge of Swift, android native and hybrid mobile application development is an added advantage
Knowledge of developing applications for wearables is an added advantage
