Position Summary:
Design, develop and implement enhancements for fastest and most flexible backup and recovery solution in the industry.
Key activities may include:
Team lead
Design and code software using the established development process.
Unit test, debug and correct defects
Generate appropriate documentation for the design and implementation of the software modules, and the proper ongoing support of software modules
Participate in design reviews and code walk-thrus
Install and configure development lab computers & software
Required Skills:
Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
10+ yrs experience
Proven end to end product development experience.
Has designed and developed large and complex software, and applications.
Has very good handle on software development lifecycle and experienced in Agile/Scrum methodology in multiple projects.
Able to handle different and conflicting requirements, prioritize tasks and should be self driven.
Candidate should have keen eye for quality and looks for continuous improvements in the product.
Excellent communication skills, worked with geographically dispersed teams (US or elsewhere).
Should have worked with different stake holders (product management and senior mgmt.) on road map discussions.
Strong knowledge of C/C++
Strong Windows OS knowledge with internals, file system. Debugging skills at user and kernel level.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Good Presentation skills.
Should be a team player, guide team members and champion company values and vision.
Has experience in handling customer issues.
Ability to influence others to achieve results.
Strong Windows OS kernel knowledge is a plus.
Senior Software Engineer
Position Summary:
