Job Description & Role and Responsibilities
Individually contribute, propose solutions and own it
Engage hands-on directly with engineering teams as and when required
Design and provide technical direction of new projects in collaboration with lead developers and architectural team
Represent the architecture team in collaborations with peer groups across the company, in establishing technical best practices and designing architectural solutions
Contribute with the technology solution / POCs as part of pre-sales activity (interacting with our sales on strategizing various solutions for new customers. )
Mentor resources on technology and trends
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Graduation or above
Job Experience Requirements
8-10 years of hands-on experience in developing solutions on Microsoft Platforms.
Provided solution for a minimum of 3 Enterprise Grade applications
Ability to define non functional requirements and to translate functional + non-functional requirements to POCs
Hands-on experience across the range of technologies (.net .5/4.0, MS Sql Server, WCF and variants, relational databases, Scripting languages, Open source tools and technologies).
Experience on solutions, developed on / integrated with the following MS server technologies would be an added advantage:
BizTalk Server,
SharePoint Server,
MS Dynamics etc.,
Experience on content management tools.
Mandatory Skills
Expertise (6+ years) in .NET domain: Design, Development and Implementation. (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, SQL Server, TFS and tools like FxCop, NUnit, NHibernate, etc. )
Experience on one or more of the following: Aspects of SOA, WCF, Azure Cloud concepts and implementation, Mobile applications.
Ability to articulate the understanding of requirements and the reason behind a suggested solution approach
Open to new technologies and standards and technology neutral in suggesting architecture
Self-starter and learner of new technologies and is abreast of technological trends
Excellent communication skills
