Essential Responsibilities
Senior Member of the Engineering team focused on creating/delivering best-of-breed User Experience (UX) across for multiple products and platforms.
Works closely with the Product Managers and Technical Leaders across the product lifecycle - understanding customer needs, product functions, storyboarding concepts, prioritizing features, presenting prototypes and validating user experience
Spearhead core functions: UX ideation, planning, prototyping, wireframes, visual design, UI specification and production deployment
Proactively generate smart design concepts and UX ideas/backlogs that can optimize and maximize end-user experience across web & mobile platforms
Collaborate with product owners to quickly translate ideas/concepts to compelling visualize designs that can be validated by the leadership team
Evaluate/research the latest trends, tools and design trends for continuous improvement
Coach and mentor project team members and product owners in the user-cantered design process and the value of the user experience design
Defines standards, practices, processes, style guides and artefacts for the UX practice
Manage a small team of visual designers and developers
Qualifications/Requirements
Exp 9 - 13 years
Hands-on experience in a product company working on User Experience Design, Interaction Design, User Interface Design, Human Factors and Graphic Design
Minimum of 7+ years' experience creating in UX deliverable such as, UX
storyboards, mockups, wireframes, prototypes, user interface design, and style guides.
Experience in leading UI/UX implementations of browser based business applications, desktop, and mobile applications (experience in pure website design will not be considered)
Expertise in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and skilled in creating wireframes using standard tools (such as Balsamiq, Axure Pro)
Hand-on experience in HTML & CSS is highly desirable with exposure of frameworks such as SASS/LESS.
Experience working on .NET applications is a plus.
Experience in Usability Testing and Audits
Should be willing to share a portfolio for viewing
Location : Bangalore, India
