Urgent opening for BI solution designer and Data Modeler for our client based in Hyderabad / Bangalore.

Requirement :
Experience: 10+ Years
Work Location: Bangalore
** Total IT experience of around 10 yrs of which 8 yrs+ in DWH Solution Designing
* Experience in Business Intelligence solutions development
* Excellent communication and organizational skills written and oral (ability to express and understand complex technical concepts in BI domains)
* Experience with relational database technology such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Informix, or Sybase
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to diagnose complex technical problems to root cause with the ability to summarize prognosis and impacts as appropriate to all levels
* Proven experience in relational database management systems which includes: Tables - Primary-Keys / Hash-Keys, Attributes, etc. as well as SQL - Joins - Inner / Outer, Right / Left, Grouping, Sorting, Filtering, etc.
* Experience with Data Warehouse design and architecture
* Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
* Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.
* Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
* Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata
* Experience with ETL Tools (Ab Initio, Informatica, DataStage, etc.)
* Strong depth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies (NEOVIEW, Oracle, and SQL 2008 OLAP)
* Continuous desire and aptitude to learn and contribute
* Experience working with International Teams is a plus
* Effective communications as a team member within the team and with clients / users, to recommend design configurations and optimal design
* Must be able to 'think outside the box' and be innovative and help out where necessary
* Work as a team player in a geographically dispersed team environment
* Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time
