JOB Responsibilities * Design, develop, implement and support database objects such as, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views etc., that meet business requirements * Perform software development, unit testing and debugging, which may include the development of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions * Work with Business Analysts, other team members and clients to review the business requirements and translate them into database objects * Work with Database Administration, Systems Administration and Operations personnel to support the implementation of applications into production * Receive general supervision from the project leader, and work independently through the phases of the software development life cycle * 3 to 5 years of experience in development in T-SQL or strong knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS * Strong knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning * Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2008 * Experience in Database Administration using SQL Server or Oracle is a plus * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent written and verbal communications skills Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and Five years of related field or equivalent industry experience * Strong understanding of SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS- Mandatory * Strong analytical skills * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of basic client/server architecture and computer networks Interested candidates can mail their updated resumes in word format on mne108@contactxindia.com or can call upon 022-40960108 (Munira) Is this job relevant to you?
