(MNC) JOB DESCRIPTION: Key Responsibilities: * Own the technical end-to-end delivery of one or more subsystems * Collaborate closely with Product Managers to plan releases using Agile Scrum methodology * Manage team of 3-6 developers, manual and automated testers and oversee the design-development-testing cycles during Sprint execution * Build prototypes/PoC for new technology stack/libraries/frameworks to be evaluated * Contribute significantly in design and architectural reviews across teams * Work with other teams to build robust subsystem integrations, following principles of SOA and EAI * Ensure that Continuous Integration (CI) and automated testing infrastructure is leveraged to deliver high quality products * Own the improvements in system uptime and performance metrics, by using the right monitoring and alerting tools in production environment * Mentor team members, allocate tasks, manage contingencies, carry out performance management, hiring and team building activities Key Skills & Experience: * 9+ years of design and development experience building highly scalable & distributed systems, performance benchmarking & tuning. * Hands-on experience on one or more of the following tech stacks:  Java/JEE, Tomcat, Webservices, REST APIs, JMS/Messaging, Spring, Hibernate, Drools  LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-Python), Python-Django, Celery  Web, HTML5, CSS, JQuery/AngularJS/Bootstrap.js, AJAX, Responsive Web Design  Mobile Apps (iOS, Android, Windows) * Very Good understanding of OOPS concepts and Design & EAI patterns * At least 3-4 years of experience managing small teams * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from reputed institutes * Experience with employee development, performance management and delivering results. * Excellent ability to solve complex problems, analyze quantitatively and to prioritize effectively * Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Hadoop/ MapReduce & other Big Data tech stack * Nice to have: Experience with managing server infrastructure in cloud/hybrid environment * Nice to have: Experience at customer facing organizations in E-commerce/Travel/Internet domain Qualification : BE/ B Tec , ME/M Tech , MCA Work location : Bangalore .
