Job Description: * Business Unit: Media Entertainment * Designation: Senior J2EE Technical Architect * Work Location: Chennai Requirement: * Minimum 10 years of experience of design/develop architecture and frameworks for products using Spring, Spring MVC, Struts, and Hibernate * Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred * Provide architecture guidance to the project team working on products with strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security * Lead architecture aspects of software development with strong emphasis on OOAD, layered application development, domain driven design, architecture design patterns * Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM, XP * Create technical documents for software products using Visio, UML, PowerPoint and Office * Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, FEA, Zachman etc. * Should have hands on skills with capability to explore other areas in J2EE and frameworks (e.g. Angular JS) and provide recommendations * Should be good in communication and should be able to defend the architecture recommendations in front of the customer Specific Responsibilities * Design and develop architecture and frameworks for products using Spring, Spring MVC, Struts, and Hibernate * Extensive experience in various aspects of database technology including the data modeling, database performance, data migration and database design * Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience in systems development in a variety of computing architectures and environments * Thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering * Provide architecture guidance to the project team working on products with strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security * Lead architecture aspects of software development with strong emphasis on Object Oriented analysis and design (OOAD), layered application development, domain driven design, architecture design patterns * Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Test Driven Development * Significant experience in requirements analysis and User Story development * Exposure to systems integration practices and message-oriented middleware solutions * Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture principles and practices Interested candidates are requested to share updated resume to anita.ssingh@igate.com with below details: Total Experience: Current CTC: Expected CTC: Notice Period: Note: Candidates interviewed 6 Months before with IGATE, please don't apply.
