Experience: 8-14 Years
Shift Timing: 12 PM - 8 PM
Job Description:
Business Intelligence professional with 8+ years of experience in reporting & analytics solutions:
-Strong understanding of dimensional data modelling (star / snowflake schema, physical / logical data modelling, etc.);
-Strong understanding of ETL processes, and experience in creating Data dictionaries & processes around Data Quality & Governance;
-Experience in delivering web-based reporting solutions using SAS, and Cognos;
-Experience working on Mainframe systems and JCL;
-Experience working with multiple database systems, primarily DB2 / IMS, Oracle, Teradata and SQL Server;
-Experience designing Data Architectures, and Relational Databases;
Toolset:
-SAS - Base SAS / EG, DI Studio, BI Tools (Information Maps, Web Report Studio &Olap Cube Studio);
-Informatica Power Center & Power Exchange;
-Cognos - Report Studio, Framework Manager; or SAS
-DB Development / Administration - Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle SQL Developer, Teradata Administrator, Teradata SQL Assistant, IBM Data Studio.pl/SQL DEVELOPER
-Languages - SQL & JCL
Business objects :tableau,or SAS or COGNOS are the reporting tools.
Job Role:
1.Design data architectures to support both the Reporting & Analytics teams;
2.Design and build relational or application-specific databases to support the metrics needed by the Reporting & Analytics teams
3.Develop strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery and implementation of the various databases required for both the Reporting & Analytics teams;
4.Develop strategies for purging information from the various databases used by the Reporting & Analytics teams;
5.Administer and maintain the metadata management tool selected
6.Develop the requisite extraction/transformation/load (ETL) components either through custom coding or through the use of existing ETL applications
7.Unit test the developed ETL components and provide assistance during the systems integration and user acceptance testing stages
