Dear Job, Good day, Our client is looking for Oracle Database administrator to be placed in Malaysia. This would be for 12 months contract which is extendable. Job Type: 12 months contract and extendable Job Description: . Computer Science degree 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration 3. Strong experience in Oracle (10g and above) Database Administration 4. Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, and replication 5. Knowledge of scripting languages (shell scripting) 6. Experience with the full project lifecycle from conception to implementation & support 7. Good understanding of how to use Oracle Enterprise Manager . Knowledge of OEM Agents installation and mantainance. 8. Good troubleshooting skills. Ability to use different tools and technologies when dealing with complex issues 9. Experience with Multi-platform and multi-system integration 10. Knowledge HPUX and Linux operating systems 11. Hands-on experience with any of the following: a. Managing Database Availability, Storage, Data, Memory, Performance b. Upgrades, Migrations c. HA/DR solutions: ADG, Metrocluster/Site to Site configuration, Standby, Streams.
