Position : Subject Matter Expert - SQL DBA
Job Requirement - Overall 8-16 years of experience.
Job Location - Bangalore
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
SQL DBA Requirements:
*8 to 14 years supporting Microsoft SQL Server(2008 & above version) in a Production Environment
*Excellent incident solving, analytical and critical thinking skills - must be able to work with peers and customers to resolve issues
*Must have experience in Replication, mirroring, Triggering, log shipping, Disaster Recovery , High Availability, Automation Scripting, Clustering
*Continuous improvement focus to continually review clients' database environments with a standing goal of improving upon existing operations
*Possess a good technical background with an ability to effectively interface with cross-functional teams (server administrators, storage administrators, client application developers, etc)
*Excellent oral and written communication skills - must be comfortable communicating with technical peers and customers
*Personal commitment to stay current with latest technology concepts
*A customer service attitude is essential
*Team player attitude is critical
*Excellent functional understanding and familiarity with database monitoring and capacity management
*Excellent functional understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technology
*Ready to work on night shift starting from 6 PM to 3 AM IST from Monday to Friday.
Kindly note : The candidate should be willing to work in dedicated night shifts
from 6 PM - 3 AM IST.
