Responsibilities: Desired Candidate Profile Job description: Exp:- 8 + Yrs Location: Pune Permanent Role Job description:- Activities may include the following: * Gather and transform business requirements into innovative BI solutions that effectively support business users * Document designs, specifications, and flow diagrams to assist in efficient development, support, and problem analysis * Experience designing and implementing MicroStrategy or other business intelligence solutions * Leads and / or participates in implementation activities * Provides technical oversight for large project teams, including customers and partners * Leverages and extends MicroStrategy best practices for service delivery * Mentors junior colleagues * Develop and implement data auditing strategies to ensure data accuracy and integrity * Participate in data model design and data build for the enterprise datawarehouse * Develop, execute, and document test plans for development activities * Validate reporting results against requirements, and troubleshoot and analyze data issues within reports * Develop a strong understanding of the source systems that pass data to the reporting systems, and the relationships within the data * Support and manage special projects, ad-hoc management reporting requests, testing, and issue resolution * Develop and maintain documentation for reporting and tracking all changes * Communicate clearly and effectively with business users and technical teams through all phases of the development lifecycle * Meet regularly with internal departments and resources to review current reporting and identify improvements and efficiencies Required Skills: * 8+ years of experience building BI Applications and solutions using BI Tools like MicroStrategy(preferable), Microsoft SSRS, Pentaho, Cognos, Business Objects * Proficient in understanding of BI architecture, dashboard, and report development * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. * Experience designing and implementing MicroStrategy or other business intelligence solutions * Capable of writing business proposals & preparing estimation. * Should have effective communication (Written & oral).
