Role(s) the position holder is required to know:
.NET 2.0, 3, 0, 3.5 Framework and higher, ASP.NET, C# / VB.NET, MVC, Design Patterns•
Ø Provides updates and necessary information to the Technical Project Manager
Ø Works closely with the Architecture and Standards team to validate designs and standards
Ø Responsible for enforcing agreed upon designs and standards across all applications
Ø Overall responsibility for technical implementation of applications
Ø Validates requirements and provides direction when needed to business partners
Ø Lead software design meetings
Ø Prepares technical documentation related to implementation of applications
Ø Performs bug verification, release testing and support for enterprise systems and applications
Ø Drives process improvement and helps to develop enterprise coding standards
Ø Researches complex problems discovered by QA or IT Support Services
Ø Performs coding, unit testing and integration testing
Ø Participates in and may lead code reviews
Ø Implements critical software or system changes
Ø Leads major development initiatives
Ø Mentors junior developers
Ø Complete understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines
Ø Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives
Ø Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives
Ø Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects
Ø Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
Ø Should be completely hands on in coding and should be willing to code
Exp: 10-13 Years
