Company: Kwik Systems (http://kwiksys.net/) Work Location: Bangalore Exp: 5 - 8 yrs Mode of placement: Permanent Primary Responsibilities - Write high-quality, high-performance, beautiful, maintainable front-end code in Javascript, andHTML/CSS. - Implement new features, optimize existing ones and rapidly fix bugs from controller-level to UI. - Participate in design and code reviews; identify best practices for front-end engineering. - Test your own code using TDD techniques where possible, both unit and functional. - Learn and apply new technologies quickly and without reticence. - Work closely with product leads, designers, information architects, and back-end engineers. Required: - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 2-3 years full life cycle development experience. - Strong JavaScript experience implementing customer facing experience - Strong HTML5 and CSS knowledge working on e-commerce sites preferably mobile sites - Proven experience with integrating with social networks - Proven experience working with frameworks such as jquerymobile, backbone, angular etc. - Proven experience leading a team of engineers and delivering projects - Able to effectively communicate across teams and roles - Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time, with high quality, and within budget - Ability and desire to thrive in a proactive, high-pressure, client-services, environment Preferred: - Experience with Web Commerce Applications is a plus - Experience with TDD in an Agile development model is a plus. - Familiarity of Java, and Java Servlets - Familiarity with Maven, SVN/GIT and experience with Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies is a plus.
