Position Summary: Software Engineer
Join us as a software engineer, working as part of a high energy team to design and build our new state of the art recruiting system. This is a browser-based applicant tracking system used by recruiters to manage the process of filling job requisitions. It allows recruiters to create job requisitions, route candidates and resumes to appropriate hiring managers and decision makers, and track progress and results. This is an opportunity to work with the latest technologies. Working as part of a team that does what it takes to ensure success, you will design and implement this multi-tier internet application to achieve high reliability and scalability.
Requirements
Candidates applying for this job should have and be prepared to demonstrate the following skills:
*Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
*Strong background in computer science fundamentals.
*Solid experience developing Java/J2EE applications using JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, Hibernate, EJB, and JDBC.
*Experience and knowledge of database design and development using SQL and Oracle 9i/10g.
*Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and design solutions based on those requirements.
*Experience developing code deployed for use in a web application with many concurrent users and a very high transaction rate.
*Excellent English communication skills.
*Experience working with JSF is desired.
*Experience developing with JBOSS and SEAM in an EJB3 environment is desired.
Exposure to Human Resources domain is a plus.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include the following:
*Product development including design, implementation, and unit testing.
*Author design notes.
A delivery focused attitude with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities include the following:
*Program enhancements/corrections to the product.
*Provide patches as appropriate.
*Provide resolution of support issues by having a strong understanding of the 2x application.
*Program integrations with various 3rd party vendors.
*Provide a knowledge base to internal and extrenal customers.
*Have good cross department communication and relationships.
*A delivery focused attitude with the ability to drive tasks forward and meet demanding deadlines.
Principal Software Engineer
