Job Details Overview
· Good experience in Web Application development
· .NET 3.5 and above, C#
· ASP.NET 2.0+ and/or ASP.NET MVC (last 2 years should be on this)
· AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript
· Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Library (Optional)
· Experience of developing SOAP or REST web services using technologies such as WCF, ASMX
· Web Servers: IIS 6 / 7 / 7.5
· Database skills: SQL Server 2005 and above
· SSIS packages (Optional)
· Experience with MySQL and Oracle (Optional)
· Tools: Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 / 2010 / 2012 and VSTS
· Ability to translate high level architecture into technical design - object/entity model, class diagrams using UML
· Knowledge of design patterns and experience of applying it when required
· Data modeling / DB design skills
· Experience with one or more design tools such as VISIO, Visual Studio (design part), Enterprise Architect, Star UML
· Ability to create a WBS and estimates for requirements / use-cases
· Ability to set up and drive development best practices - coding guidelines, code quality tools, test coverage, better IDE usage
· Ability to set up engineering environments - development environment setup, source control, build and CI setup, release management
· Oversee and review code as required
· Drive implementation and address technical roadblocks that the team is facing
· Experience with diagnosing performance and/or memory issues is a plus, including using relevant profiler tools
· Oversee and assist during system testing, UAT and deployment
