Oracle Application DBA - Service Offerings & Responsibilities · Perform routine preventive, scheduled and unscheduled actions that result in the prevention of system functionality failure or inhibition, and also increase efficiency and reliability · Operate, refine and maintain the underlying infrastructure and technologies intended to support the NP systems to ensure proper performance · Full support of new functionality · Provide recommendations, validation and guidance toward new industry trends · Closely monitor system and application performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), and Custom scripts · Install & Configure Oracle Application 11i Technology Stack · Configure the database to scalable & perform optimally · Define Application users and provide support · Monitor the database activity & application performance · Resolve any conflicts while sharing the shared resources · Manage Development, Test & Production Environments · Collaborate with vendors like Terremark& Oracle · Upgrade environments to latest technology stack · Patching the environment with latest service packs · Application & Database Performance Tuning Daily Support · Monitor runaway jobs - killing them where needed. · Monitor disk space · Monitoring Temporary space usage · Monitor Server performance · Monitor locks, release locks · Support Development team with code move and source code. · Query tuning · Interaction with Oracle Support - Opening and updating Service requests · Run data fixes and patches provided by Oracle Support · Interaction with Terremark · Trouble shooting Performance issues · Granting privileges to users based on business needs. · Export/Import data across instances. · Printer Setup · Font setup · Database internal error monitoring and resolution · Emergency migrations Routine Maintenance · OAI cleanup · Database shutdown and restart · Code Migrations · Instance Refreshing · Cloning Development instances from the PROD · Adjust memory & disk parameters · Purging and space reclamation. · Post "Disk allocation" tasks Thanks, Shaswati 9036009853 Is this job relevant to you?
