SQL,Server 2000.2005,2008 Please check the JD * Work for a sustained duration (2- 3 months) on large scale business problem involving software product in the area of cost, operations and supply chain. * S/He should be competent to provide quick solutions to problems and taking a feature /component through the entire life cycle, improve the space - time performance, and improve on usability / reliability. * Design, write, test, and debug database stored procedures and complex queries to extract, calculate or manipulate information using SQL-Server 2000 /2005/2008 database * Adhere to the time-lines set for delivery items, for different Product release and Customer releases. * Design and implement SSIS packages, to fulfill different Product Requirement. * Design and execute migration and integration of data and DB Objects from legacy systems to new applications and new technologies. * Take the ownership of activities assigned to them. * Working in a team environment to process and analyze large data sets * Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the work performed and takes ownership of all assigned projects * Document all the Database related processes and activities, which are assigned to him What skills do we expect from Sr. Database Engineer at SCA * Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in working with large data sets preferably in ERP/ MRP manufacturing and/or distribution environment * BE/MCA with reputed institute * Experience to work with large data sets i.e. ERP/SCM/Manufacturing/distribution environment * Experience in handling team of Database engineers Technical Skills * Expert in Design, write, test, and debug database stored procedures and complex queries to extract, calculate or manipulate information using SQL-Server 2000 /2005/2008 database (MUST) * Expert in migration and integration of data and DB Objects from legacy systems to new applications and new technologies. * Good hand on Experience with optimizing data queries for improving performance * Good hand on Experience with ETL tools (SSIS) * Experience in conducting analytics with SQL and Excel * Develop conceptual data models and relational data structures * Strong analytical capabilities * Some exposure to writing macros in Excel * Expert in use of SQL tools like Profiler / Activity Monitor Soft Skills * Good communication skill * Good Team Player * Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the work performed and takes ownership of all assigned projects * Able to work onsite if the situation demands * Ability to be a quick learner who can work independently * Work effectively with minimum supervision * Work closely with other teams of application developers, system administrators and Client facing team IF you are looking for a change please send me your updated Cv on my ID deepika@shikshaplanet.com with details :-- Current CTC:-- Expect CTC:-- Notice period :-- Regards Deepika Rana Is this job relevant to you?
