Experience required for the Job: 7 - 10 years Job Location: Bahrain Apply Now   Reply Dear Candidate, Hi, We are currently recruiting SHAREPOINT ARCHITECTS for a leading IT Group in BAHRAIN, established in 1980s with a diversified business interest in Information Technology, Business Automation, Integrated Engineering Solutions, Safety & Security Solutions etc. SPECIFICATION: The SharePoint Architect will have 7+ years" experience as a Solution Architect in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications and in addition, to being a SharePoint Solution Architect will have 2+ years" experience with SharePoint Technologies (Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2007/2010, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search, Business Data Catalog and Web Services) in a variety of business environments. Experience with earlier releases of SharePoint is highly valued. TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: * 7+ years" experience with business information systems integration or custom business application design and development in a professional technology consulting, corporate MIS or software development environment. * Deep expertise in 3 or more of the following: Programming with .NET Framework: Complete from back end to Windows or Web Forms front end Enterprise integration technologies (Microsoft BizTalk, MSMQ, Web Services, Remoting) Microsoft Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration technologies (SharePoint Portal Server / Windows SharePoint Services, Content Management Server, Office SharePoint Server 2007, Office Live Communications Server, Microsoft Groove Server 2007) * Microsoft SQL Server Database, Analysis, Integration and Reporting Services ASP .NET and client web development (XML, XSL, ASP .NET, AJAX, HTML, Java Script) * Proven knowledge and experience with: Agile methodologies Enterprise integration and software development patterns * Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007. * Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations. * In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence. * SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the data view web part (DVWP), content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization. * Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, and JavaScript) is required. * Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required. * Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2005 is required. * Experience with server installation, performance tuning is not required but valued * Configure and maintain document libraries, lists, and WSS site collections and deploy SharePoint at the enterprise level in a distributed global environment. * Perform typical administrative activities such as backup, restore, site creation, and user issue resolution. * Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements. * Participate in the gathering and documenting of requirements from non-technical business users. * Create functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, create a prototype of recommended solutions, demo to the users, and implement the solution * Communicate Conceptual and Detail Designs to Client and Development Team BENEFITS: Attractive TAX FREE Salary + Family Visa + Medical Insurance for self and family + Yearly Leave & Travel Fare If you are looking for a change, please forward us your resume with the following details to proceed immediately.
