Education:
B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer science and engineering
Diploma in Embedded System Design (DESD)
Essential:
Expertise in C, C++, Java (Android Scope), data structure, object oriented programming and design
Thorough understanding on Linux Kernel & device driver
Thorough understanding of Linux System programming, IPC, stacks
Experience in working with Android HAL implementation for custom devices
Thorough understanding of OSS development tools (GIT, GNU Cross compiler, GERRIT)
Familiarity with C++ / QT based solution architecting (in the scope of Embedded systems, Embedded data loggers, embedded media platforms)
Very good understanding of classical operating system concepts specifically Linux process management, memory management & OS porting
Experience in porting boot loader (Uboot) & embedded Linux kernel to ARM, MIPS based single board computer (SBC)
Familarity in working with TI OMAP & Qualcomm MSM platforms
Understanding of JTAG & GDB based operating system debugging & Bug fixing
Understanding of Audio / Video sub-system of Embedded Linux & Android (familiarity with OpenGL is a plus)
Experience in Linux device drivers (Audio, Video,SD/MMC/NAND, USB/I2C/SPI/UART, Framebuffer, Bluetooth, WiFI)
Good technical understanding of system level libraries / frameworks (Glibc, Xlib, Gstreamer, ALSA, BlueZ, Wireless tools
Expertise in data modeling
Test software using debuggers, emulators & simulator (Qemu, Android, Meego)
Desired:
Rapidly prototyping new features to validate designs
Operating system fundamentals (through knowledge on Linux/Unix OS architectures)
Experience:
8 - 12 years
Solid experience in Solution Architecting
Capability to handle multiple projects with Global team using Scrum methodology
Familiarity with Agile, Project management practices
