Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:-

 

Experience in Team/People Management. Should have handled team of 10+ members

Experience in Data Warehousing projects

Experience in MS BI tools– SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDX, PPS

Experience in Agile/Scrum Methodology

TFS

Experience in Share Point

Good RND capabilities

Design Patterns and Enterprise Application Pattern

Unit Testing Tools/Frameworks

 

Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills, with particularly strong writing ability

Extremely high level of attention to detail

 Roles and Responsibilities:-

Planning & Liasioning

Work with the Onshore Team (Architect, GPG) to understand the future and existing Projects for GSSC development team. Actively involved in planning for each technical stream which includes -

Define the Roadmap and scope for the projects so that all the key deliverables are included in the projects and ensuring the flexibility within the team to incorporate the change management process.

Risk & Mitigation plan for the projects

Identify the training and development plans for the team as per the current and future project requirements

Ensure that appropriate resource capacity always available to meet the current and projected project requirements.

Continuously monitor the projects performance and take the required action to ensure the delivery.

Liaison with the key stakeholders to understand and elicit the business requirements and the priority of the changes assigned in development queue. Work with the onshore architect leads for high level design documents.

 

Quality & Productivity

Ensure adherence to SDLC Process

Timely delivery of Development work

Define and monitor quality and productivity metrics, ensuring that targets are met

Maintain improvement plan and take appropriate actions for implementing action plans.

Drive the Continuous Improvement groups (SDLC & Tools, Metrics, Audit) and provide weekly updates to GSSC Sr. Manager

 

Mentor & Coaching

Mentors and provides guidance and support to Delivery leads. Assisting with tasks of delivery leads wherever needed for ensuring delivery.

Build and coach team members to help them perform their role to the best of their abilities. This includes mentoring them on aspects like Scrum Management, Team Management, Daily communication management etc.

Provide regular feedback/encouragement to Development Teams.

 Work closely with the development teams to review ongoing task assignments, training, career development, performance management, communication & bonding of team members to motivate & encourage the resources.

 

Processes

Define and maintain the SDLC/SCRUM/Quality/documentation processes to maximizing the overall efficiency.

Flexile and agile processes in order to cater the business needs.

Change Agent-Consistently looking to bring the changes to the SDLC processes as per the best industry practices in conjunction with onshore technical lead.
