Job Description An expert and a hands-on database engineer with 7+ years of experience in architecture, design, development and support of database platforms and at least 4+ years on SQL server, has worked with large applications preferably in agile development environment. Responsibilities * A self-driven, highly motivated and experienced Database engineer * Developing High Quality Software Applications * Working with Product Management to help refine product requirements based on technical needs and merit * Evaluating and recommending technology choices based on product requirements * Ability to gather requirements from all stakeholders and be capable in disseminating targeted user needs. * Ability to work end to end in design, development and support * Developing & Reviewing Requirements & Design Documents * Providing input for product documentation and Quality engineering teams * A Team Player, working with global software development teams with multiple stakeholders * Installing and Testing Software Applications end to end * Supporting customers on issues reported from the field * Troubleshooting, Identifying issues and proposing solutions / alternatives * Entering and tracking defects and work items * Scale up and down technically as required time to time from architect to developer Primary/Required Skills: * Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2000 - 2008 R2) o Tables o Views o Statistics o Stored Procedures o Triggers o Partitions o Indexes * Knowledge of programming design patterns * Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools * Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design * The ability to learn, communicate, work flexibly with remote developers, customers, and problem solve both independently and with a team is essential. * SQL 2000 - 2008 R2 Administration and Security * Appreciate and adopt to scrum methodology Location - Bangalore Regards Savitha - savitha.reddy@symphonyteleca.com Symphony Teleca You are receiving this e-mail because your profile contained one or more of the following words that the recruiter searched on: " "DB" or "DataBase" or "SQL Server" or "SQLServer" ", " "developer" "Architect" " Is this job relevant to you?
