SharePoint Architect / Sr. Developer. (7-12 years of Exp)
This person need to handle below beside doing development.
· Technical Design Guidance - Lead technical discussions with project resources and other technical resources where system integration or security is needed/required/desired. Provide expertise and interface on all system and security inquiries.
· Requirements Review - Review requirements to ensure all items are addressed. Monitor requirements for scope creep. Make suggestions to the BA that would improve the functionality, user experience, cut costs, or improve timelines.
· Knowledge Transfer, Mentoring, and Training - Transfer knowledge to team members and provide mentoring in best practices and approaches. Create documentation on processes as needed.
· Task Planning- Provide technical task breakdowns of requirements and user stories. Provide estimates related to those tasks and assist in resource assignments for those tasks.
· Break fixes, Hands-on, Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and C# .NET Comprehension of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
* 5 + years of experience in developing and deploying solutions in Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010
* Understanding of SharePoint Search - setup, configuration, tuning, API"s
* Experience and knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques
* Experience using the SharePoint 2007 and 2010 frameworks as an application development platform
* Experience in SQL Server - stored procedures, views, functions, etc.
* An understanding of SharePoint API's and architecture
* TFS - Team Foundation Server
Desired / Optional:
* Experience / Knowledge with the following is considered a plus:
* Search configuration (search scopes and best bets) optimization.
* AJAX, JSON, JQuery or Silverlight
* Metadata architecture and content types experience including 2010 Content Hub and Managed Metadata Services
* Experience with Microsoft Application Blocks, enterprise library, etc.
* Experience with implementing and troubleshooting Kerberos configurations, Active Directory, ADFS or WIF
* Microsoft ISA Gateway and SharePoint extranet implementation experience
* Scrum and Agile development techniques experience
