We are looking for experienced software development engineers (2 to 10 years experience) willing to work in a Individual Contributor role to design/code/deliver the software and move up the Leadership ladder in a ARCHITECT"s role For futher details logon to www.merittrac.com JD: Software Engineer-2/SE-3/Technical Specialist (4-8 years) Skills/Experience: 1. Strong hands on coding and design expertise, data structures/Algorithms 2. Product development background 3. Junior to mid level - 5 to 8 years of experience in Distributed, Highly scalable, Web based Enterprise class Application Design and development environment 4. Track record of consistent delivery of software in fast changing environment, ability to work in relatively unstructured environments, High degree of initiative 5. Track record of technology innovations, IP creation 6. Strong Analytical skills Technical: 1. One or more areas including: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, Database development, Multi-threaded programming, Algorithms and data structures, Scalability and Security Architectures. (Mix n match of Scalability, Database, Platform, QA Perf, Mobile, Generic skills) 2. Current with OOP/OOD programming in Java/J2EE 3. Agile software development life cycle methods, Design patterns, 4. Usability, Web based GUI technologies, JSP 5. Familiar with testing techniques/tools, Open Source technologies 6. Open source platform preferably Linux or other flavors of UNIX 7. Mobile Application development 8. Experience building new software products from the ground up 9. Experience developing design that is supportable, extendable and easily maintainable 10.
