We are hiring for a Technical Architect for a client who is a leading KPO with more than 2600 professionals working with them worldwide. They have dedicated on-site teams and scalable global knowledge centers in Chile, China, India and Romania, which provide multi-time zone and multi-lingual services.
Job Location :: Chile (Permanently in South America) (for first 3 months the work will be executed from Gurgaon, India)

Job description ::
As a Technical Lead/Architect, the candidate will provide technical leadership and mentoring to the project team. The candidate will also suggest the best technical solution throughout the lifecycle of a project including direction on systems architecture, reuse and development processes. The key responsibilities will include guiding the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects, interfacing with client's technology and management teams and gathering information on enterprise-wide trends.
Skill Set Required
* Must have extensive work experience in design, development and implementation of software solutions primarily using Microsoft/Oracle technologies.
* The candidate must have experience in implementation of Architecture Frameworks like Enterprise Architecture, SOA Architecture, MVC framework, N Hibernate, etc.
* Knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to .NET, HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML, SOAP, Java Script, AJAX, Visual Basic, Visual Basic.NET.
* Good communication and analytical skills.
* Must have basic knowledge of integrating applications with single sign-on services (e.g.: Active directory/LDAP authentication/SSO)
* Experience of developing secured and high performance web application(s)
* Strong experience of developing applications with OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) concepts
* Experienced in leading team including onsite and offshore of developers on larger projects.
* Ability to quickly adapt to changes, enhancements and new technologies.
* Ability to understand technical aspects of the assigned program/projects.
* Strong hands-on experience of successfully delivering large complex technology projects in various domains.
* Should be able to transform user requirements to technical solution.
* Should be well equipped with latest and emerging technologies / trends.
* Take ownership of technical solutions from the design and architecture perspective.
* Review the Architectural/ Technological solutions for ongoing project and ensure right choice for solution.
* Create the High/Low level design and architecture of the solution, including class, sequence diagrams, deployment infrastructure diagrams etc.
* Monitor application performance and review any application failures in staging or production.
* Should be able to work upon OnDemand requirements and provide reliable effort estimates.
* Have the right focus towards best practices like coding standards and other industry standards.
* Ensure completion of reliable internal and end user documentation.
* Experience of traveling onsite for specific discussions/deliverables involving direct interaction with the client.
*Evaluate application with respect to clients' Business needs.
Education and experience
* Bachelor's/Master"s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering or equivalent
* 8 plus years' of total experience in software development with 3 plus years of experience as technical lead/architect.
* Should have hands on experience in coding software applications.
* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively and professionally communicate with management, staff and customers as well as demonstrate sound judgment and reasoning skills.
* Ability to assess complex situations, set priorities and implement action plans with a business oriented approach and a proactive understanding and ability to manage end user/customer expectations.
* Problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally, ability to think with a medium term and long term perspective.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
* Analyze potential impact of problem resolution and take corrective measures when needed.
