Detailed Job Description: ---------------------------------- Job Title (Designation): Teamcenter Customization Engineer Job Description: Delivery: Install and configure, as required, all appropriate SPLM software environments as part of the final solution build Configure the SPLM core product OR undertake customization tasks - Server and Client Customizations - using the proprietary tool kit and, where appropriate, create interfaces to third party products using industry standards and Siemens PLM Software approved solution techniques. Where required, enhance custom generic solutions that can be packaged and reused in other customers, or delivered to Development for inclusion in later releases of the SPLM core product For all 3rd Party applications, understand and qualify how the To Be Solution will be integrated with each Siemens application taking into account elements such as technical mitigation and risk management, and tie in to key milestones Plan and effectively apply change management principles to the project, where required Testing: Generate testing scripts to prove the implemented solution. Undertake Unit, Integration and Functional Testing on own work and others work, as required. Documentation: Generate bespoke user documentation to required level Document technical customizations on installations utilizing VDM templates Accurately document software issues and enhancement requests Generate documentation on technical, functional and business process best practices Training: Provide support to customers Processes: Integrate Teamcenter product functionality with external business processes and software Effectively work with others to satisfactorily resolve technical, business and application process issues Strictly follow the various customer"s internal operational and knowledge management process Mandatory Skills: C/C++, Java, Tc Engg./TcUA Core modules, ITK Secondary Skills: BMIDE, PLM XML Relevant Experience (in years): 3 -5 Qualification: Preferred: BE/ME (Mech, Electrical, E&C), B Tech/M Tech.
