Required Skills:
* Very good experience in Installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server.
* Experience in working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 technologies in a transaction intensive, high-availability clustered environment.
* An excellent in depth knowledge of all areas of SQL Server 2000 / 2005 - security, monitoring, performance tuning, auditing, backup and capacity planning is required.
* Designs and builds high-volume relational databases for applications and systems and define strategies for data acquisition, recovery, migration and archiving
* Ability to understanding of complex data, data flows and replication.
* Performance tunes and writes code for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures, views and triggers
* Working with several large and complex SQL Databases
* Leading the release/upgrade process for database growth
* Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of database programs
* Resolve database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
* Maintain database changes from Development, QA to Production.
* Extensive exposure moving large databases to new higher capacity servers.
* Implement data security practices for database applications to prevent the disclosure, modification or destruction of data.
* Configure, implement and maintain database synchronization, replication, backup and recovery.
* Monitor user and system activity logs; and maintaining data integrity for mission-critical databases.
* Responsible for the logical and physical integrity of the application database environment and the logical and physical database design.
* Installs, patches, upgrades, maintain, and supports the database in all environments.
* assists with capacity planning for future database growth;
* Develops and modifies database definitions including entities, attributes, relationships, and referential integrity triggers.
* Experience in Data Modeling (Logical and Physical Design of Databases), Normalization and building Referential Integrity Constraints.
* Very good experience in complete ETL cycle including data analysis, database design, data mapping and conversion and data load.
* Experience in MS SQL Server upgrades from 7.0 to MS SQL Server 2000 and from 2000 to MS SQL server 2005/2008.
* Experience in Analysis Services & Reporting Services, SQL Server Clustering and Log Shipping
* Experience in to Implement SQL standards in writing Stored procedures, Triggers, Views, Sql functions and locking issues.
* Depth knowledge in SQL Server security and encryption policies.
