Job title: Technical Architect
Job Summary:
The Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of cloud-based solutions and technologies this includes defining, prototyping and recommending the technology solutions, detailing the implementation design and identifying interfaces with other products for integration. One should be abreast of latest technologies & tools and ability to evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies as per the requirements & define implementation approaches, algorithms and code structure to meet the requirements. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, technology savvy, driven to produce results and demonstrates the ability to take a cross-team leadership role
Responsibilities: -
• Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement solutions
• Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on products architectural needs
• Provide technical leadership, project guidance, and business development in various technology areas
• Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, quality assurance and sales) to deliver high-quality products on-time
• Being an active spokesperson and evangelist both internally and externally by communicating and promoting the Company's technology vision and solution/s
• Working actively in product development and leading in the trenches as needed, providing innovative solutions to real engineering problems and serving as an example to the engineering team
Required Skills and Experience: -
• Extensive experience with cloud services (ideally AWS). You know the “gotchas,†potential problems, and how-to setup a geographically redundant and fault tolerance services in the cloud.
• Passion of coding and understanding of various programing languages and concepts.
• Hands on with Python and Node.Js
• Know the ins and outs of hosting solutions, serverless computing and containers.
• Prior experience with a SaaS / Cloud solution-based product organization.
• A solid understanding of networking and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks).
• Knowledge of Server Monitoring Tools like New Relic, Nagios, Cloud Front etc.
• Solid understanding of AWS IaaS and PaaS services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present solution and write technology white papers.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Ability to quickly make decisions and influence across organizational boundaries
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to achieve team success.
• 8+ years of experience out of which 3+ in an individual contributor role.
• Knowledge of Raspberry Pi development is a plus.

• Position type and expected hours of work: This is a Permanent position. Days and hours of work are Monday to Friday for nine hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
