(Indicate which criteria are mandatory) Leading IT Services companies Implementing large scale big data solutions for non-IT organizations What are the nature and scope of responsibilities the candidate should have handled? (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) Experience in designing solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a good understanding of cluster and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS and/or knowledge on NoSQL platforms. Experience with one of the large cloud-computing infrastructure solutions like Amazon Web Services or Elastic MapReduce Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) - Stong knowledge on Kafka, Elastic Search, Apache Hive, Spark, Storm, MapReduce, Couchbase, Hadoop, and Cassandra. - Basic DB administration experience (Oracle, SQL Server & NO-SQL database). - Hands on experience on OOP languages and data structure. - experience working on tools like Slack, Kibana, Grafana, pinpoint, zoomdata etc. - firm understanding of major programming/scripting languages like Java, Linux, PHP, Ruby, Pyton and/or R. Experience in working with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend and/or Pentaho will be an added plus. - Should understand and have experience with data security and privacy concerns that could arise and that should be taken care of from the start. - Should be able to benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them; - Should be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms - Should be able to document use cases, solutions and recommendations; - Should be able to Develop and maintain a cloud solution. Understanding / Experience with disciplines such as - Machine learning; - Conceptual modelling; - Statistical analysis; - Predictive modelling; - Hypothesis testing.
