| | We are looking for a Principal Software Development Engineer to be part of the team to support rollout of 4G LTE and VoLTE based Network Performance Analytics and Customer Experience Management solution.
This job requires developing Linux-based applications to capture various mobile signaling protocols and user-plane data to provide network performance and service assurance analysis for LTE and VoLTE network elements. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, feature design, development, and test of applications running on Linux platform for the mobile analytics solution. Requires at least four years of relevant experience and overall 10 years of development experience with companies delivering large scale and high performance applications for mobile network elements.
Skills
Strong multi-threaded programming in C++ in Linux environment
Hands on experience in developing scalable high performance applications for mobile protocols, especially LTE, VoLTE or IMS SIP related call processing.
Demonstrative ability to leverage advanced design techniques such as OOP, real-time programming and design patterns.
Excellent debugging and problem solving skills on high performance systems
Experience in developing Network Performance, Service Assurance or Customer Experience Management systems a plus.
Experience with Big Data architecture or Streaming Analytics using SPARK is a plus
Good understanding of TCP/IP or SCTP protocols is a plus
Understanding of system programming and Linux internals
Additional skills
Self-starter with a can do attitude and the passion to make a difference in the workplace.
Strong Analytical skills
Work in a dynamic, fast paced, start-up environment
Team player with good verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in working with remote teams is a plus
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer science or associated engineering discipline is required.
