We have an opening at Pole To Win, for a 'Automation Architect'.
Job Description :
Architect required testing tools and own test automation end to end.
Perform cost analysis to propose right set of solutions and choices on testing tools.
Develop and maintain automated test framework/harness.
Develop and maintain test libraries that abstracts a game, product etc.,
Evangelize necessary Testing Paradigms, establish and enforce necessary standards.
Provide feedback to Development Architect and Engineering management team to improve quality & testability during product development phase onsite with clients as required.
Own and review quality of test automation and tool development.
Define and communicate browser and device cadence by proactively monitoring the emerging market and advocating necessary framework changes to adopt.
Provide Technical Specs and written communication reports as required for test and automation projects.
Skills / Competencies:
Minimum 10 years of experience testing software, creating hands-on test automation frameworks and harness
Ability to reverse engineer to get to conceptual architecture from source code if necessary.
Experience recommending tools and building test harness in different conditions, platforms and possibly using Java/C/C++ and/or JS, Node JS
Strong experience with functional automation frameworks like JUnit, MSTest, TestNG, NUnit, OCUnit, QUnit etc.,
Strong experience using Scripting languages like Python, Perl or Bash
Knowledge of source control repository management like Git Hub, Atlassian BitBucket, Stash
Knowledge in web testing technologies like HTML5, CSS, XML, SOAP, REST APIs, Selenium WebDriver, RC, Grid Setup, JMeter, Soap UI etc.,
Knowledge in BDD frameworks like Jasmine, JBehave and Cucumber
Knowledge of mobile testing technologies like Calabash, Appium, Xamarin Test Cloud, GHUnit, eggplant, and device labs like DeviceAnywhere, AppThWack etc.,
Knowledge of Network emulation and network conditioning tools
Demonstrated skills in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
