Job Role: Solution Architect
Skills:
The Solution Architect will be the ultimate decision maker in how web and mobile enabled software products will be made. He/she must have the ability to design and deliver high availability software products using the following
• Understand and detail out business feasibility of software products, its customers and competition
• Different software development methodologies like Waterfall, XP, Scrum, etc.
• Programming Languages such as C++ , ASP.NET, Shell Scripting, Core Java, PL/SQL C, JS, Perl, PHP, etc.
• Databases such as MySQL, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
• Web and mobile technologies
• Evaluate, recommend and implement third party technologies
The Solution Architect must also be able to guide and motivate team members to adopt and follow latest tools and processes in Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, code reviews, code optimizations, etc. He/she will play huge part in deciding hiring requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must have the ability to design and deliver high availability software products
• Understand and detail out business feasibility of software products, its customers and competition
• Have detailed conversations with clients and other stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Architect and design software using different design patterns & data structures keeping loose coupling, performance, security and maintenance in mind
• Guide and motivate team members to adopt and follow latest tools and processes in Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, code reviews, code optimizations, etc.
• He/she will play huge part in deciding hiring requirements.
• Be passionate about his/her work and will display that zeal by publishing articles & blogs related to current and/or upcoming technologies and/or the industries being catered to.
