Job Description (an indicative) -
Job Title - Data Architect (Data warehousing and BI related system)
Experience - 12 - 15 Years
Work Location - Chennai
Description :-
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. 12 or more years of experience working in Data warehousing and BI related system
2. Demonstrated hands-on experience in creating technical specifications, application development, testing, tuning, and support of Data warehouse applications
3. Experience in requirements analysis, design, development and testing of distributed, enterprise-class applications/platforms with particular attention to scalability and high performance.
4. At least 6 yrs** of experience in enterprise data architecture working on multiple ETL tools ( preferably Informatica, Abinitio, SSIS) and databases( Oracle , Teradata, Redshift, SQL DBs)
5. Experience in designing data architectures, strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery and implementation of databases, data warehouse and multidimensional databases (SQL and NoSQL).
6. Experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, Data Transformation, and Data Security
7. Experience in directing ETL design, development and deployment of ETL Applications in a hosted environment.
8. Experience with data modelling tools (e.g. Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeller, Enterprise Architect, Oracle Designer, ERwin) with preference to Oracle Designer, QA tools/Concepts and scripting languages (with preference to Python).
9. Experience working with any one BI tools ( preferably MSBI, tableau, Qlikview)
10. Work with Business analysts, engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams
11. Experience working on cloud preferably with AWS, Microsoft Azure products
12. Experience working on Prototypes proof of concepts
13. Experience working on consulting activities and supporting presales team
14. Hands-on experience in Agile BI development processes and methodologies, UNIX shell scripting, developing ETL components
15. Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
16. Strong leadership skills , decision making.
GOOD TO HAVE -
Knowledge on NOSQL DBs ( Mongo , Cassandra, Dynamo DB)
Knowledge on Bigata frameworks, Hadoop stacks, spark
Prior knowledge in Master data Management, Data quality Q tools is an advantage
Data management certification like ICCP, CDMP, and MDM
