Position: Technical Leader - Microsoft Technologies
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
* Implementation of applications/solutions that use Asp.Net MVC and BI - SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
* Team leading, customer interactions and handling experience
* Requirement analysis and prepare the effort estimates
* Understand the technical specification and review it for development
* Development and enhancement activities based on the specification
* Adheres to policies, guidelines and procedures of Valtech and customer while development is carried out
* Unit testing of the application, peer review and documentation
* Implementation of multilingual application
* Integration of external and internal systems
* Ensure services are delivered as per SLAs
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies
Essential Skills:
* Excellent knowledge and hands on Coding, Unit Testing (NUnit/MSUnit), Code Reviews and Code Refactoring skills
* Good knowledge and experience in C#, ASP.Net MVC, JQuery, Javascript, JSON
* Good knowledge and experience in MS BI tools - SSIS and SSRS.
* Good knowledge and experience in Web API/WCF/Web services.
* Good OOPs skills
* Source Control Exposure (GIT, TFS, VSS or any other)
* Good experience in any relational database like SQL Server/Oracle or both.
* Complete ownership of modules including design
* Agile methodology (Scrum preferred)
Desirable Skills:
* Design Patterns, MVC/MVP architecture
* Exposure to tools like Jira, HP Quality Center, Bugzilla etc.
* Cloud (Windows Azure and SQL Azure)
Added advantage:
* Microsoft SSAS
* JQuery frameworks like JQuery Mobile/Angular.js/Backbone.js/Dojo/Sencha
* Mobile site/apps development and Responsive Web Design
* Continuous Integration - Automation of builds and unit tests (Jenkins preferred)
* Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Exposure to Code Analysis tools like FxCop, StyleCop etc.
Others:
* Leadership skills
* Well organized
* Good verbal and written English communication skills
* Quick learner
* Team player
