Company Profile: Pel Softlabs Pvt Ltd (pelsoftlabs.in) is a young software company with an ambitious team serving over 50000 businesses. The company is currently at a turnover of 5 Cr and is aiming at a target of 100 Cr till 2018 by expanding its operations to Pan India and internationally. For our upcoming high growth dot com venture, we are in process of building a pilot team to achieve this objective by scaling our proven processes.
The right incumbent would be the one to hit the ground running from day 1, a visionary who can see the big picture, willing to meet the current challenges within timelines in limited resources.
Job Summary: We are currently serving thousands of businesses as customers on our Telecom & Business management applications developed in asp.net and MS SQL ( Our B2B products are: sms19.com, email19.com, voice19.in, calldesk19.com, crm19.com, data19.in, which are now under process of being combined in single product www.bdigital19.com (Beta). B2C products are: Tazzme.com ).
To expand our services to Pan India and internationally, we are looking for a pilot core team member to overlook the overall administration and productivity of the Development department who has experience in handling such applications.
Responsibilities:
Providing line management to a team of developers, taking the lead in day to day direction and priority setting, Setting objectives ,Conducting appraisals and Identifying & resolving training needs
Working with product/project owners to plan and execute development projects, ensuring that team has appropriate product and technical specifications, direction and resources
Delivering products/projects effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring projects remain on target to meet deadlines and company goals while ensuring development and UI standards are defined, documented, implemented & adhere to by developers to ensure consistency across applications
Actively managing the agile development processes. Coordinating with the Quality Assurance and Product Management leads to optimize team processes and operations
Qualifications:
At least 6+ years of experience as a manager or lead of a software development team, including providing technical work direction and coaching for team members and exposure in agile development practices
Hands on experience in developing MVC applications is a must
Experience managing software projects from gathering requirements through release planning and deployments
Strong communication skills and work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
Job Location:New Delhi
The incumbent should be the one with an entrepreneurial vision, ready to work in a performance based compensation structure growing as the company grows and be considered as a stakeholder should his performance justify the same. Given the current size of the company the compensation structure will comprise a part of fixed remuneration up to 6 Lacs pa and equity in form of company shares.
