Description

 

Profile Synopsis

10+ years’ experience in iPhone development, Mac OS development & iOS SDK; familiar with iPhone UI design guidelines for smart-phones and tablets, experience of full mobile software development life cycle, design, coding, integration & testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS design and development, with one or more apps in the Apple iTunes App Store.

 

Mandatory Skill Set – Core iOS Professional

  

1.     iOS development [Expert in coding with Objective C or Swift on ios platform]

2.     Deep knowledge of mobile operating systems – iOS or Android

3.     Excellent coding skills –  Java (Required), C++

4.     3-5 years of relevant experience. Exposure to mobile application technologies is highly desired

  1. Strong OO design & programming skills in Objective-C, MVC, UIKit and Interface Builder.
  2. Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location etc).
  3. Hands-on experience with Push Notification Framework, Strong Knowledge of universal app i.e. app for both iPhone & iPad.
  4. Broad knowledge of X-Code 4 & 5, Performance optimization tools, proficient in Profiling, code optimization on iOS development environment.
  5. Hands-on experience with REST\SOAP based architecture and uses. Thorough understanding of XML, JSON , Web Services technologies and data structure fundamentals.
  6. Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support

 

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development of mobile apps for the iOS platform.
  • Participate in code reviews, wireframe designs and proof of concepts.
  • Work with QA team in analysing and resolving production issues and defects.
  • Work with Release Engineering team in app deployment activities.
  • Participate in the full SDLC (RUP/Agile), including meetings, iterative development, estimations and design sessions.
  • Ability to clearly write technical specifications and strong estimating and planning skills.
