We have an urgent opening for the role of Sr. Consultant User Interface with an Autonomous Govt Sector under Ministry Of Communication & IT, based in Delhi.
Location: Delhi
Role: IC Role as a Sr. Consultant
CTC: Upto 18 LPA (incl. of 15% Variables)
Contractual: On Contractual basis for 2 Years, role will be renewed with newer Contracts basis performance.
Experience: 10- 18 Years
Travel will be part of the role
Job Description:
* Hands on development of UI components
* Applies graphic/visual design to interfaces, including creating icons, updating layouts, and enhancing displays; insures consistent application across product
* Develop low and high fidelity wireframes, clickable prototypes, site maps, and design documentation that incorporate all technical, editorial, and usability specifications of the project
Skill & Experience:
* Expert in developing highly optimized, cross-browser, HTML, Java Script, jQuery, XHTML and CSS
* Proficient with UX wireframe and prototyping software (e.g. Axure, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator); familiar with Snagit, Visio, XML, HTML, HTML5 and CSS
* Strong sense of modern, clean design and aesthetics that can be applied to create pixel perfect layouts
* Must have experience with DOM manipulation
* Must be familiar with the use of UI Debugging tools such as Firebug, Web Developer Tools etc.
* Familiar with current W3C standards, compatibility issues and fallback strategies for legacy browsers
* Knowledge of Web servers(like Tomcat, WebSphere, Glassfish), JSF, Spring IOC, JSP
* Working knowledge of developing web applications in Eclipse or other IDEs
* Working knowledge of deploying and debugging applications Linux/Windows environment
* Working experience of Code Repository viz. GIT, RCS, CVS, SVN etc. and bug tracking tools viz. bugzilla, mantis etc.
* Knowledge of graphic design and Photoshop is a major plus
* Knowledge of mobile development using HTML5 and jQuery, Hibernate, SQL is a plus
Qualifications:
* Expert Web UI developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 10-12 years of experience in HTML, CSS, JQuery, Java/J2EE
* An Engineering degree (preferably Computer Science), Master in Computer Applications, Master in Science from a leading university in India or abroad
