Also, have a look at: - www.microsoft.com Job Description Design, Vision and Scope, Strategy and Technical Documents * Candidates must have an understanding of customer and partner business and IT environment, and have demonstrated skills designing and developing technology in area(s) of specialization to solve business problems. * Participates in the delivery of complex solution as technical individual contributor or as a team member under coaching/guidance of senior team members. * Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology * Ability to understand and analyse issues and uses judgment to make decisions. * Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills * Strong communication skills * Technical design, development and implementation decisions on the use of technology in area(s) of specialization. * Ability to read, interpret and/or develop Technical specifications, diagrams and database schema * Validate code on customer's system and educate customer's team on applying the code. * Work with Leads to map solution and technical information to customer's context. * Work with Leads on areas of local prototype, or proof of concept, to test solution. * Write or modify programming code to suit customer's needs. * Unit test to assure meets requirements, including integration test as needed. * Responsible for self-development according to professional development plan Consultants are expected to have deep technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: * SharePoint -Deep understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server with hands on experience on any version of SharePoint (MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010/2013). Should have done extensive work in one or more workloads of SharePoint. Should have designed and developed SharePoint based intranet or internet portals customized to need business requirements for the customer.. Should be familiar with development best practices applicable for SharePoint On-Premise and Office 365. * .NET Tools and Technologies - experience of leveraging the same and designing, implementing and deploying Line of Business Applications. Deep expertise in ASP.NET and client side programming using HTML5, JavaScript &jQuery is preferred. * Databases: Database skills for SQL Server Development and/or SQL Reporting services Educational Qualification: Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience. Higher relevant education preferred. Highly proficient & solid customer facing project experience involving solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment in one of the areas mentioned in Section II Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions At least 4 years of related technology experience Having a MCSD/MCSE//MCAD/MCTS is preferred.
