Not sure if the timing or location is right but we have a 3+month contract in Schaumburg, IL area for a UI Front End Developer.
We are looking for someone with 3 yrs plus of UI development experience. That means someone who
has spent time implementing a fully functional UI. Many of the candidates we are getting seem to have mostly UI design or prototyping experience"
Must have the implementation experience and Linux exp.
major web development experience is 7 years old, some recent experience, but very limited
Please makes sure your candidate has the desired Unix exp. as well as be clear about it and how long they've had this skill set
UI Front End Developer
You will be designing and implementing user interfaces to support a critical and demanding operational environment. You need to be able to create simple and intuitive interfaces that combine images and data to provide operational insights.
Requirements
Strong customer focus
Solid HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery skills Experience designing operational dashboards Experience developing solutions on Unix platforms Experience with SQL, mySQL, and preferably postgresSQL
Preferred qualifications
Experience in developing web applications using MVC architecture Experience developing web applications that include embedded Ruby code Experience with rapid/agile development
3 month assignment with a possibility for an extension
Work Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm
