Requirement: They are looking for the following skills Senior SQL DBA Key Responsibilities: Hard skills: * Installation, configuration and upgradation of Microsoft SQL Servers 2005 and 2008 and related products. * Work on high availability technologies such as Failover clustering, Log shipping, DB mirroring and Snapshot replication. * Performance tuning: database tuning and query tuning. * Write Power shell scripts for automation and monitoring activities. * Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures. * Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). * Work closely with Production Operations Group to ensure the database services are up and running 24/7.
